Extractions: Middle School students, just as the name implies, are caught in the middle - no longer children, but not adults. It is a transitional period in life when many changes are occurring. These changes affect all areas of development - social, emotional, physical, and intellectual. At Tripp Middle School these changes are evident and we offer programs that address the unique needs of the adolescent. Areas of focus for us are to; make students accountable by accepting responsibility for their own behavior, respect others' rights, enhance self-esteem, make appropriate decisions, become conscientious students and citizens. It is our belief that students, parents, and teachers need to maintain effective communication to enable us to meet the students' needs.
