Students may choose from a wide variety of both college preparatory and career-oriented courses at the comprehensive-rated high school. Eight Advanced Placement courses provide students the opportunity to earn the Commonwealth Diploma and college credit. Students who are not college bound may choose a challenging career-oriented curriculum based upon the High Schools That Work / Tech Prep programs that offer practical studies to prepare students for the work force after graduation. Tech Prep articulations, such as those that currently provide credit in health care and child care post-secondary studies, continue to be expanded. An Industrial Technology Lab, designed and partially funded by industry and business partners, prepares students for post-secondary training in the areas of design, electricity and electronics, mechanical systems, automation and material handling, quality control and manufacturing processes.
