In the West Bank town of Hebron, hundreds gathered to bury a 10-month-old Jewish infant. Israeli officials said the baby was killed last week by Palestinian sniper fire from the Palestinian-controlled hillside that overlooks their settlement. Within hours after the funeral, violence broke out in Hebron when Palestinians fired from the hillside, and Israel Defense Forces responded with shelling. No one was reported wounded. In Ramallah , West Bank, mourners carried the body of an 11-year-old Palestinian boy through the streets. He died Sunday from injuries he suffered two weeks ago during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the village of Deir Nizam.

JERUSALEM (CNN) Documents seized from Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Ramallah compound links a Palestinian Authority finance official to the group behind several recent suicide bombings, the Israel Defense Forces said Tuesday. Israeli troops seized the records from the office of Fouad al-Shoubaki, the former chief of procurement and finance for Palestinian security forces, an Israeli military statement said. The records indicate that al-Shoubaki distributed funds for the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military arm of Arafat's Fatah movement, the IDF said. The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has claimed responsibility for several recent suicide bombings that targeted Israeli civilians, including an attack on a Haifa restaurant that killed 14 people Sunday. The United States recently designated the group a terrorist organization.

The weapons were allegedly bound for Gaza JERUSALEM (CNN) The Israel Defense Forces said Monday they intercepted a boat containing weapons, including anti-aircraft missiles, off the coast of northern Israel, near Rosh Hanikra. The Israelis claimed the missiles were intended for Palestinian forces in Gaza, but a Palestinian spokesman denied Palestinians were behind the shipment. At a news conference Monday, Maj. Gen. Yedidya Ya'ari, Israel's chief of naval forces, said an air force plane saw a ship on Sunday that looked suspicious. Israeli ships intercepted the 40-ton San Torini and found it loaded with arms. Ya'ari said Lebanese smugglers departed with the boatload of weapons from northern Lebanon. Their plan was to put the arms into barrels and put them into the sea, where they were to be picked up by Palestinians, he said. Ya'ari said an ongoing investigation has concluded the organization responsible for sending the material is the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General Command, under the leadership of Ahmed Jibril.

What Do You Do With Future National Israel In The Bible? In order to change from Dispensationalism to postmillennialism, it is necessary to spiritualize many passages referring to a future for national israel, and replace israel with the church. http://www.raptureme.com/tt13.html
Extractions: by Thomas Ice I suspect that most of you have been at a theological crossroad at least once in your Christian life. I have stood at several over the years. Let me tell you about one such instance, since it is one that many have faced down through church history. It involves the question of "What do you do with a future national Israel in the Bible?" The decision one makes about this question will largely determine your view of Bible prophecy, thus greatly impacting your view of the Bible itself and where history is headed. A Personal Crossroad Back in the early '80s I lived in Oklahoma and was in my first pastorate after getting out of Dallas Seminary in 1980. I had been attracted for about a decade to the writings of those known as Christian Reconstructionists. Most reconstructionists are preterist postmillennial1 in their view of Bible prophecy. Up to this point in my life I considered myself a reconstructionist who was not postmillennial, but dispensational premillennial. Through a series of events, I came to a point in my thinking where I believed that I had to consider whether postmillennialism was biblical. I recall having come to the point in my mind where I actually wanted to switch to postmillennialism and had thought about what that would mean for me in the ministry. I remember thinking that I was willing to make whatever changes would be necessary if I concluded that the Bible taught postmillennialism.
