I:or this study, the researcher developed an educational program pertaining to intravenous therapy with a 20-item multiple- choice pretest and posttesl to measure results. One instructor presented the same information to both the control and experimental groups. The control group received their information through lectures and handouts only. The experimental group used the active learning approach, including a variety of audiovisuals, group discussions, and anatomic models.
