Collaboration between the Boise School District and Head Start programs will help ensure that all children have the services they need to be successful in school. Early Childhood Special Education classrooms in our school provide services to developmentally disabled preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 and support to their families. Our goal is to better prepare our students for school and reduce the need for special education services once they begin kindergarten or first grade. The ICC covers only elementary and secondary classroom teachers. The Idaho requirement of recent credit must have been completed for the ICC terms to be in effect in Idaho.
