BGSP Research Resources A collection of resources to aid research in psychoanalysis and allied disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. http://soldzresearch.com/BGSPResearchSources.htm
Extractions: Psychoanalytic Research The Psychoanalytic Research Consortium (POSTED: May 9, 2003) has extensive psychoanalytic material available for use by reserchers and educators. They have approximately 18,000 tape-recorded psychoanalytic hours available for study. Transcripts or tapes can be obtained by researchers for a modest fee. They describe themselves as follows: The Psychoanalytic Research Consortium (PRC) is a not-for-profit organization of researchers promoting basic psychoanalytic research, primarily through the use of our library of audiotape recorded sessions of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic or psychodynamic therapy. We are primarily interested in exploring the relationships between the processes of psychoanalytic work and the benefit to the patient, particularly l ong-term benefit. We support a group of research-minded psychoanalysts who have developed ANALYTIC PROCESS SCALES for investigating recorded sessions.... We wish specifically to encourage research endeavors by individual analysts who may not have an elaborate research design, but simply an interesting idea. The Psychoanalytic Research Society is Section VI of the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychoanalysis (Division 39). At this point, their web site is fairly sparse.

WCSR - Women And Children's Support Resources A 501(c)3 taxexempt organization which provides books, posters, tapes and other materials on domestic violence to women's shelters through a unique gift certificate program. http://www.wcsr.org/
Extractions: Victim assistance programs, such as women and children's shelters, need technical and educational resources to achieve their goals of helping battered women and children in crisis situations. Excellent materials to assist these programs are available from publishers and presses throughout the country. However, the shelters and groups that need these resources usually do not have sufficient funding to acquire them. OUR SOLUTION: WCSR's Gift Certificate Program Our gift certificate program is a clearinghouse function. It solves the problem by putting purchasing power directly into the hands of victim assistance programs and shelters, and letting them select from a wide range of available resources. WCSR performs this clearinghouse function by receiving funding from donors, and then producing and distributing gift certificates on their behalf to the shelters of their choice. Once the recipient indicates its choice of materials, WCSR then fills and ships the order to them. We contract with Volcano Press, Inc. to perform these services.

Extractions: Home Links Definitions Case Study ... Site Map This site aims to offer advice and discussion on the many issues of the world of flexible working. The links page highlights some of the flexible working resources available. Please let us know of other links which may be of interest to other site visitors. Many enlightened British organisations, both large and small, from across a wide range of sectors have enjoyed real business benefits as a result of their modern approach to work-life balance. More flexible working policies have helped businesses to improve customer service, reduce staff stress and absenteeism and reduce recruitment costs because their staff are happier. In the foreword to " Flexible Working - The Business Case ", published by The Department of Trade and industry, Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry says: "Over the last decade there has been a revolution in the workplace. Now that women make up almost half the workforce, the relationship between work and family life has altered dramatically and the world of work must catch up. Allowing people to work in a sensible way that allows them to balance earning a living with looking after their children is not only good for families and children, it is good for business too. Although there are many excellent examples of businesses operating modern flexible workplaces, there are still too many organisations where an old-fashioned long hours culture still prevails. This is costly - although British companies work the longest hours in Europe, our productivity levels are one of the lowest and stress-related sickness costs British business around £12 billion every year. If we left it to best practice alone, it would take 20 years for the culture to change fundamentally. We cannot wait this long."
Magister Ludi Roleplaying Resources A collection of articles about GMing, with practical tips and advice, and a collection of roleplaying related links. http://users.chariot.net.au/~amaranth/articles.htm
Extractions: GM Articles Home eMail Articles ... Banners These pages are about roleplaying, plain and simple. If you take a look around you'll find articles giving advice on running games, sections dedicated to 7th Sea and Nobilis, theoretical ramblings and links to other roleplaying sites we find useful or interesting. The observant will note that we used to call the site "Amaranth" - the change is purely one of aesthetics - all the old content is still here. We decided that Magister Ludi (or Master of Games, for those of you who don't speak Latin) was a far better name for a site dedicated to helping you and us master the art of roleplaying! Whilst we're still not tired of the sound of our own voices (or perhaps sight of our own print) we're also interested in putting up material written by other people. If you'd like to submit something, please take a look at our submission guidelines and then go right ahead. Likewise, if you have any requests for topics you'd like to see covered in articles, feel free to
