The project was cited for the partners' dedication to providing quality customer service, promoting improved service integration, and improving accessibility in the 15-county service delivery area The first Career Depot opened at Walker Technical Institute in Spring 1997. Agencies planning and organizing the first Career Depot in addition to Walker Tech included the Northwest Georgia Private Industry Council, Northwest Georgia Field Service Office, and Walker County Family and Children Services. The Career Depot at Walker Tech has expanded to include agencies in Catoosa, Dade, and Chattooga Counties and additional agencies in Walker County.
