Over the years, I have learnt to authentically reproduce/enhance the experience via line drawings done in India ink. This is especially true of historical sculptures where the originals themselves were in extremely poor condition.

Ok, so this is a little off-topic, but my mom emailed me, saying that perhaps I'd better explain the term 'bulldust' from my previous post. I've linked to some photos on the net. It seems non-Queenslanders aren't always familiar with the term, and it has actually been pressed into use as a less-offensive version of a similar swear-word. In north Queensland , where you get saturating monsoonal rain for part of the year, and bone-dry heat for the rest, the dirt forms a thick, hard layer that powders into a fine dust in the 'dry season'. The 'roads' are often just graded tracks driving in it can be hazardous - sometimes the layer of dust gets axel-high, clouds of it make visibility poor, and it can get into your engine.
