School of Medicine entities with specific needs such as departmental email or web server lookups can be granted domain lookups, i.e. program.med.emory.edu. Email addresses for this domain would be user@program.med.emory.edu. This should be the standard, effective immediately, for all new DNS requests. Those currently in effect should gradually be migrated to this standard, though no timeframe is suggested. Note that ITS taking the lead in allocating DNS lookups for the School of Medicine does not imply support of services such as departmental email or web servers.
