Currently, each network has 19 Family Child Care Homes enrolled in the program. The homes provide slots for 161 children. Effective Program Strategy: The Family Child Care Home Network exists to support family child care home providers. The Child Care Specialist encourages quality care for children by working with providers on obtaining a CDA credential, resolving health and safety issues, using developmentally appropriate practices, meeting state licensing requirements, and encouraging parent involvement.
