Each year, Idealist.org, a nationally known non-profit organization information database, holds the COOL Conference about social change for over a thousand students from all over the United States and the world. For four days, students attended five different workshops, a forum, and a plenary session about topics ranging from "Corporate Responsibility" to "Work in the Non-Profit World" to "Getting Congress to Listen to You." They also attended an information fair where hundreds of non-profit, government, and other social service organizations disseminated information and recruited volunteers and employees.
