Sanford, the former executive director of Stanbridge Academy , a K-12 school for students with learning disabilities in San Mateo California, will begin his nationwide tour beginning this fall. Sanford is happy to join with LD Resources in this project to share his findings in a way that will make it easy for parents to both track his progress and more easily find the right school for their child. From September through February, Sanford will visit seventy schools in different regions of the country. This project is intended to support and enhance, not replace, other parent resources such as independent educational counselors and consultants.
