NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Indy s Logan heads Daktronics AllAmerica team (story) 2004-05 NABC All-America team Division II players in the National basketball Association http://campus.umr.edu/sports/bbindex.html
Extractions: Directory of NCAA Division II coaches Indy's Logan heads Daktronics All-America team ... Findlay ranked No. 1 in final NABC Division II rankings A title is back in familiar hands Virginia Union's Luqman Jaaber It was only fitting that Luqman Jaaber, who is among the national leaders in steals and the top free throw shooter in NCAA Division II this season, would do those two things to help Virginia Union clinch the national title. Jaaber, who averages more than three steals per game, made a steal with 6.1 seconds to go and the Panthers clinging to a three-point lead against Bryant, then hit a pair of free throws to lock up a 63-58 win for the national championship for Virginia Union. The Panthers, winners of their first national title since 1992, had an eight-point lead in the second half before Bryant rattled off eight straight points to tie the game at 58 with under two minutes to play. However, VUU's Antwan Walton converted a three-point play with 1:29 left to give the lead back to the Panthers and they held off two late attempts by Bryant to tie the game. Walton led the Panthers with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Chris Burns had a game-high 24 points, including six three-point baskets, for a Bulldog team playing in the national championship game for the first time ever. The national title is the third for Virginia Union and head coach Dave Robbins, who becomes one of only three coaches in Division II history to coach three championship teams at this level.
