Constructs thought to measure Afrocentricity, alienation, and self-efficacy, were developed and factor analyzed using principal components analysis. This was an exploratory study. The purpose of the study was to ascertain if selected demographic and other variables were associated with the three factors. Significant correlations were found between some independent variables and the three factors. The findings in this study might have implications for educational policy, cross-cultural awareness, and cultural identity development among Africans in the African continent and its Diaspora.
