The JOAD program accommodates both those interested in competitive archery and those looking for recreational opportunities by providing a serious atmosphere focused on critical skill development, while still maintaining a fun environment. The UT Archery club competes nationally under the rules of the United States National Archery Association/College Division . The club is open to both recurve bows and compound bows. Compund bows are limited to under 60 lbs. We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Anna Hiss Gymnasium . The archery range is in the basement on the north side of the building. Currently enrolled UT students and Faculty/Staff that are current RecSports members are eligible to join the club. Membership dues are $25 per semester or $50 per year. No experience required. We have access to equipment that can be used by beginning archers. If you are an experienced archer or just would like to try it out, please come by and visit us.
