Extractions: In diagnostic ultrasound "artefact" is used for image phenomenons, that represent the real anatomical structure not correctly. An artefact can be defined as false, multiple or misleading information introduced by the imaging system or by interaction of ultrasound with the adjacent tissue. But in the case of medical diagnosis its appearance can be of diagnostic advantage also ! In general image artefacts can occur in each medical ultrasound. Then an interpretation of the image is complicated and can eliminate the structural information of objects looking for. Artefacts do occur due to some simple assumptions of the ultrasound propagation after generating in an imaging system. Without these assumptions developing of ultrasound imaging systems could not have been done. These assumptions are :
