Marketing new zealand's queen's baton relay route announced The New Zealand Olympic Committee is pleased to announce the New Zealand route for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Queens Baton Relay (QBR) on the day, September 15, that marks six months out from the start of the Games. The QBR has been travelling the world since March this year, when it was sent on its way to Melbourne by Queen Elizabeth from the steps of Buckingham Palace in London.
