He gave his first recital at the age of nine, and made his debut at twelve with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He has since gone on to play many recitals and concerts throughout the USA, Mexico, Canada and Europe including appearances at Centenary Hall in Leeds, Salle Cortot in Paris, McCain Hall in Dublin, Ulster Hall in Belfast and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. He received his Bachelor of Music with minors in French Language and Journalism from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1987, and holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance as well from Temple University in Philadelphia. He received his Doctoral degree in Piano from the University of Southern California where he was a student of Daniel Pollack and Stewart Gordon. His teachers have included such well-known pianists as Adele Marcus, Theodore Lettvin, Robert Goldsand, Jerome Rose, and Nicholas Zumbro Dr. Galanter was the recipient of a fellowship and Spanish Music Prize two years in a row from the commission for "Musica en Compostela" from the Spanish Government in Santiago Spain. He has done extensive research in the origins of Spanish Piano Music of the 19th and 20th centuries, which is one of his specialties. Other awards include a first prize in the Jackson Symphony Piano Competition, the Young Artists Award from the Detroit Symphony, and fellowships and scholarships at the New England Conservatory of Music, Temple University in Philadelphia, and at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Valenti. Born in Brooklyn, New York. He knew that he wanted to be a musician since the age of three. He moved to California and started on trumpet at ten years old in a local Grammar School Music program. Maestro Valenti stayed in music in the local Schools of Los Angeles. During the second World War and after High School, he went into the Navy. Later he was Honorably Discharged from the Navy and attended Westlake College of Music on the GI. Bill of rights. There, he studied with some of the most prestigious instructors. Majoring in Conducting, Harmony, Counterpoint, Solfeggio, Orchestration and on Trumpet, His main instrument. He graduated after two years and won an extra two year scholarship from the Veterans Administration for having superior Grades. Recommended by the Dean of the school who thought that he had an unusual talent. The Dean felt that VALENTI deserved the extended advanced studies with the fine staff at Westlake College. His first term of two years equivalent to a Bachelors Degree, his second term of two years equivalent to a Masters Degree.
