Keck : Department Of Physiology & Biophysics Department of Physiology and biophysics offers a program leading to a Ph.D. degree. http://www.usc.edu/schools/medicine/departments/physiology_biophysics/
Extractions: Members of the Department serve on and provide leadership roles for various national and international committees, including NIH Study Sections, Editorial Boards, and Scientific Advisory Boards. The Department receives over $4 million in awards from the National Institutes of Health, and is ranked in the top ten of physiology departments in grant income per faculty member. Members of the Department are regularly invited to give seminars and plenary lectures at universities and conferences throughout the U.S. and overseas. Last year the members of the Department produced almost 70 new peer reviewed publications. In both its research efforts and its teaching role, the Department focuses on the integration of systems and molecular biology, and the use of this approach to understand pathophysiology. The Department plays a significant role in teaching integrative concepts to medical students, and the principles and practice of scientific investigation to PhD and MD/PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows.
Extractions: For more than 40 years, our department has been focused on the determination and analysis of macromolecular structures and the application of quantitative methods to the analysis of biological systems. The opportunities for research related to structural biology are unprecedented with the explosion of knowledge related to genome sequencing programs.

Extractions: Everyone wants to improve their quality of life and enjoy vibrant health and vitality. This desire for optimum health can be realized by embracing the truth: we are designed for wellness and our bodies have the capacity to heal themselves. By utilizing non-cognitive biofeedback we have the ability to listen to what our bodies are telling us they need. Since each person is chemically and bioenergetically different, each person's needs for restoring balance will be different. At Quantum Biophysics for Health you are provided with a custom-designed protocol unique to your own molecular makeup. Although technologically advanced, Quantum Biophysics for Health utilizes natural therapies such as homeopathy, herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to bring about the desired results for each person. Lisa Setser is in private practice in the Dallas, Texas area. For more information, click here
