These are published in a number of places. That would tell you about his work. Kai developed x-ray photo-emission, a great technique to study the electronic structure of materials. the technique currently has a resolution of less than 0.1 eV. Many spin-off techniques have also been developed since then which also study unoccupied bands. Kai is Swedish, they needed a Prize. Back to Physics
