For the third time in 6 years, Carolina has won the 2003 Douglas Macarthur Award for the Best ROTC Program at a medium size university. We are also the #3 ROTC program in the country out of 272 programs! We are actively seeking young men and women who are interested in finding out if they have what it takes to lead Our curriculum Joining LTC Steve Morris high school ... Freshman or a Sophomore already at Carolina, you can Try Us Out trying before buying In addition to teaching classes, one of our main jobs is to mentor and assist our team members through the entire college experience. Our job is simple: to mold the best possible new lieutenants for the Army each year. You can still pursue any major you select at Carolina while you are in the ROTC Program and be commissioned as a Lieutenant in the US Army after graduation. If you are a Nursing student , you have special opportunities both while a student at Carolina and once your commissioned in to the Army Nurse Corps.
