The new company name will be MPT Delivery Systems, Inc. Holmes, founder and president of Pharmachem. Based in a 28,000 sq. ft. facility in Paterson NJ, MPT is a fully integrated FDA/DEA registered manufacturing facility. The new Pharmachem subsidiary has the capability of meeting volume requirements ranging from one kilogram test batches to 3,000 kilogram lot sizes. The acquisition provides Pharmachem with horizontal integration into processes that the company previously did not have, such as fluidized bed and high sheer granulation technologies, according to Bob McCrimlisk, vice president of sales, and one of four former owners at MPT.
