WBBA Distinguished Speaker Event Oct. 20 Mark your calendars for “The Three Lees: Life Sciences in Washington - Opportunities, Challenges, Strategies” on Oct. 20 at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). Attendance is limited to WBBA core (bioscience) member representatives only. “The Three Lees” are Lee Hartwell, PhD, FHCRC; Leroy Hood, PhD, Institute for Systems Biology and Lee Huntsman, PhD, University of Washington President Emeritis and Director, Life Sciences Discovery Fund Authority. This special afternoon event will be in FHCRC’s Pelton Auditorium from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20. Light appetizers and beverages will follow the panel discussion. Because of space considerations, this program is exclusively for WBBA life science organization members and guests of sponsoring companies.
