What is it about collecting baseball cards that brings out the kid in the collector? For many of us, collecting lets us come face to face with our heroes, even if it's just on the cardboard that we hold in our hand. If you've ever opened a pack of cards and hoped to find your hero somewhere in that stack, you understand. For me, the hero whose face I hope to see staring back at me is Mark Grace. I designed this website to share my collection with you, and to confirm that you're not the only crazy one out there with shoeboxes under your bed filled with memories and dreams. Check out "The Scans" for some pictures of some truely amazing and rare cards of Mark. And if you ever come across a rare Grace card that you'd like to sell, please drop me a line. Grace fans will also want to check out my other website, www.markgrace.com , for more information about Mark. Card of the Month SEPTEMBER 2005 Playoff Absolute Memorabilia quite possibly will be voted product of the year by collectors. The great memorabilia hits in these boxes had this year's Absolute flying off hobby store shelves. Super sized patch cards were a big part of the set's popularity. Though as many as 50 super sized patch cards were made for some players, Mark Grace was featured only on a 1/1 card. I was very excited to add this spectacular card to my collection. This is the Tools of the Trade Super-Size Patch Card TT-83 serial numbered #1/1. | |
