    Krispy Kreme Fundraising
Krispy Kreme fundraising has been helping schools, youth sports groups, and churches raise money since 1937. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are a great fundraiser. Raise money by selling fresh doughnuts. Works well for school fundraisers, churches, clubs, and youth sports teams. Krispy Kreme fundraising has three different programs:
  • Traditional doughnut sales Gift certificates Partnership cards
  • Krispy Kreme Fundraising - Traditional Doughnut Sales
Perfect for the fund-raising needs of schools, clubs, churches, and other non-profit organizations. Doughnuts are made fresh and packaged by the dozen in special fund-raising boxes. Customers buy them by the box and your profit is generally 50% or more per box. Pricing and availability will vary. Contact your local Krispy Kreme store for fundraiser group sales pricing.
Krispy Kreme Fundraiser - Gift Certificates
They are an alternative to actual product sales. Customers redeem each certificate for one dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts at any participating Krispy Kreme retail shop. Certificates give your customers the option to help your organization and pick up their doughnuts at their convenience. Minimum order required.

Women's sports has grown tremendously since Title IX was signed into law in 1972, but the number of women in leadership roles has declined. Grassroots organizations have been identified by some women's sports leaders as the avenue to begin reversing the trend of declining numbers of women in sport leadership. This study identified and examined Volunteer, Non-Profit Women's Sports Groups in the United States. The group leader's leadership style was identified through the Styles of Leadership Survey. Demographic information on the leader's personal characteristics and the group's characteristics were collected by a survey. Eighty-three Volunteer, Non-Profit Women's Sports Groups were identified, and the leaders were 93% Caucasian, females with a mean age of 45.6 years. All but one had completed an undergraduate college degree, and the majority of leaders had been in their positions for five or more years.

PORT MOODY - Area sport and recreation groups are thrilled following last week's $2 million BC-Canada Infrastructure grant which will allow Port Moody to build an Olympic sized ice arena. "The opportunity to introduce our players to international playing conditions is incredible," said Port Moody Hockey Association president Greg Euler. The association currently has over 450 players registered in the local area. The wider ice surface is also beneficial to figure skating groups. International figure skating events are held on the larger surface and local athletes will now have the opportunity to train on the proper sized rink. Port Moody was home to Traci Wilson, Silver medalist at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. Ms Wilson is a member of the city's Olympic Task Force. The extra width makes segmenting the arena easier for lessons, drills and practices. NHL size and smaller rinks are normally divided in half for lessons, whereas Olympic sized rinks can be divided into three, allowing more athletes on the ice at any one time.
