When your life is on the line, you need Tukong Moosul!
Tukong Moosul was created by the Republic of Korea Army Special Forces unit to deal with real-life combat. They needed a quiet and effective means to dispatch enemies, particularly in the "de-militarized zone" (DMZ) between North and South Korea. Masters of several martial arts styles develop the techniques in order to win any fight.
See more about the history of Tukong Moosul here
The key to winning a fight is using the right technique for the right distance from the opponent. Every combat situation and fight moves through several distances. Most martial arts styles only cover a couple of distances, such as kicking or punching distances. Tukong was designed to cover every combat situation, including the six possible distances between opponents. By borrowing effective techniques from different styles, Tukong Moosul can apply the proper technique to the proper distance, adapting methods to changing situations.

Grandmaster Wonik Yi began martial arts training at the age of five when his parents placed him at the Dae-yeon Sa Temple, a Buddhist Temple located in the Korean mountains. During his 13 years at the Temple, he received the equivalent of four academic degrees: Philosophy, Martial Arts Theory, Acupuncture, and Chinese Manipulative Therapy. He was trained by 36 masters at the Temple. Military service is required of all South Korean men and he served in the South Korean Special Forces, where his previous training enabled him to create Tukong Moosul. Tukong Moosul has since been adopted as the hand-to-hand combat system for all of the South Korean Military. In 1979 , Master Yi became the World Martial Arts Champion of Seoul, South Korea in the Traditional Full-Contact Tournament. In 1981 he retired from competition, undefeated. In 1981 he was honored by the Temple with the distinction of 18th generation Master Warrior. In 1982 Master Yi began teaching Tukong Moosul in Austin, Texas, where I had the honor of training under his instruction. Currently otherTukong Moosul schools are located in Odessa Texas, and Seoul Korea, with clubs and black belts training in other places around the world.
