Sea Kayaking - Discover Nature Like Never Before
Sea Kayaking For Fun, Recreation And Adventure
Sea Kayaking is the modern development of an age old form of transport. Where the Inuit people began kayaking many years ago as a means of hunting, today we most often associate it with a recreational activity. Many thousands of people enjoy a peaceful and relaxing return to nature using their kayaks. Or there is the adrenalin fueled white water kayaking for the more adventurous.
Kayaks are small boats which can be occupied by one, two or three people. Generally built with covered decks, they may also incorporate spray decks. Modern sea kayaks have a wide variety of uses and purposes, reflecting the growing and different needs of consumers. Kayaks designed for general recreational paddling, white water, breaking waves, inflatable and fold up kayaks are all readily available.
This site is always growing and being updated with the latest kayaking information, so please browse around, subscribe to our RSS feed and we truly hope you find allkayaking.com very helpful.

    http://www.islandkayaking.com/
California's Channel Islands, located just off the coast of Santa Barbara and Ventura, are a National Park dream-come-true for marine nature lovers. The crystal clear Pacific channel waters, many mysterious and eerie sea caves, breathtaking cliffs, abundant wildlife, and mild weather combine to lure expert kayakers and novices alike to explore their natural wonders. Each encounter with the caves, tunnels, arches, grottos, and blow holes is a unique blend of sights and sounds created by submarine fissures and openings, and the contorted volcanic island formations. And the sheltered paddling areas very often are without surf or strong winds.
Marine mammals such as dolphins, whales, seals, and sea lions abound. And for many species of sea birds, the pristine habitat offers a rare respite from human development. On Santa Cruz Island, historic ranch buildings provide a window into California's past. One-day kayaking, and multi-day kayaking / camping trips to Santa Cruz Island are available year round, as are one-day trips to Anacapa Island. Trips to Santa Barbara Island are seasonally available from May through September, due to the island's remote location. Trips to Santa Rosa Island and San Miguel Island are available only through special sleep-aboard trips, at additional cost. Aquasports in the Media: Explore Island Sea Caves No Experience Required!
