826LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. We offer free drop-in tutoring, after-school workshops, in-school support, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.

Sign up on the website between now and August 1 - each team member pays a 50-dollar entry fee. As soon as teams sign up, anyone and everyone can come to this website and pledge their support for the team(s) of their choice. By donating money to the teams , the pledger buys the team certain advantages. It is therefore advantageous for team members to raise as much money as possible. During the tournament, teams will use their advantages against opposing teams. | |
