Season 2007-08
In a true roller coaster of a game on Friday night, UCLA struck first and early, but Stanford answered with 2 goals in the first period and added a third in the second. The Bruins responded with 4 straight of their own, three of which came in a span of minutes in the second. But the Cardinal Bounced back and dominated the third period, finishing with 4 unanswered scores and a 7-5 win. Saturday night saw a rejuvenated and hungry Bruin team score the first three before Stanford lit the lamp to make it 3-1 in the second. However, that would prove to be all the Card could muster. UCLA finished a strong team effort with a 6-1 win and a weekend series split with Stanford. Of note: Peter Radu (#12) was on the ice for two of Stanford's goals, and finished the weekend with an impressive plus-1 rating. Dec. 1st, 2007 - Stanford splits with Cal
After a first-period, 3-goal deficit, the Cardinal came back to win 6-4 over Cal at the Oakland Ice Center on Thursday. On Friday, Stanford couldn't quite come back after falling behind 5-1 in the first period. The final score of Friday's game was 8-4. Nov. 26th, 2007 - Stanford prepares for Big Freeze

Sunday, December 23, 2007 For the final 2007 Hockey game for both the Aggies and the Red Raiders, we enjoyed the confines of the American Airline Center in Dallas, Texas – home to the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League. Both teams appeared comfortable playing in ‘The Big Show’ and played an up-tempo first period with consistent pressure, goaltending and puck movement. The Aggies held the edge early but were unable to produce a score. The Red Raiders notched the first goal at 16:49 but were answered at 8:47. The Aggies leading scorer, Dustin Roark, steals a re-bound from the goaltender, and alertly performs a wrap-around to the out-of position goalie. The first period finishes at 1-1.

UCLA took an early one goal lead in Friday's game, but the determined Huskies managed to battle back and took a two goal lead into the 3rd period. The Bruins got a late goal to make the score 6-5, but could not tie it up. Saturday saw the Bruins again get an early lead, scoring two quick goals. Washington soon answered with two of its own. The hard fought game featured several lead changes and some big hits. In the 3rd period the Bruins were down 6-5, and even with their goalie pulled for the extra attacker, they could not score the equalizer. The team now prepares to face #2 ranked ASU next weekend.
