The author takes you along the journey of Grandmaster “Iron” Kim, who began his learning as a young boy in an Am-ja (a secluded place in the mountains of East Asia ). At this young age, Grandmaster Borion taught him to follow the Chung Doe (Correct way) and fully understand the basic three steps of eight steps to reach enlightenment, or the level of Doe-sa. The first step is to understand yourself, both mind and body. The second step is to understand others’ minds and bodies. The third step is to purify yourself in order to open your heart and connect with your universal spirit, enabling you to be enlightened. As a young boy, Grandmaster “Iron” Kim was asked by his master to write a figure eight in the sand with his finger. While learning, he began to understand the principle of life. There is harmony and balance in lifethere are ups and there are downs. When you follow the correct principles in life, others will respect you and will seek to learn your wisdom and way. However, while you gain more respect, there will be more challenges. You must remember that taller mountains are always hit by stronger winds.

Whenever I spoke about cults for more than twenty years throughout the United States and in Canada and Poland, someone in the audience would ask, “What is a cult?” Foreseeing this question, early on in my presentations I defined the term. Cults don’t have to be religious or philosophical in nature, I always pointed out. The definition has nothing to do with ideas and everything to do with methods of high control over members, the manipulation and deception and frequent resulting abuse. This scenario can happen in any group or small collection of people, regardless of the ideas that draw them together. My point is again proven in an interesting book, Herding the Moo: Exploits of a Martial Arts Cult. Although the martial arts are considered by most people to be harmless and physically beneficial, the author, an ex-member, describes the careful process by which “students” were systematically hooked into and kept in a martial arts group and how all of the elements of mind manipulation were present in the group’s method of operation. And, of course, intense friendship bonded the group’s vulnerable members, many of whom lived together. As the author describes it

There is a guy here in North Dallas...
Beltline/Midway... that claims to teach 8 styles in one.
My thought is...
It takes a lifetime to master one style..
How does he have time to make 5th degree in all of them?
The most ive seen someone be good at in all styles was 3 styles...
I watched a demo class... Seemed like rex kwon do... He didnt really want me watching... I begged to watch the glass... I dont want to be mean.. but the kicks he was teaching them were not right... I havnt seen his jiujitsu to know about it... Im just assuming it is like the rest of his arts... I just have a hard time believing it.. I asked him about his northern Shaolin and he just said its northern shaolin... I asked what type ... he just said northern.. and looked at me like I was crazy for asking... or didnt know what I was asking about.. His invented style is Ji Mu Do...

A Way to Achieve a Superior Quality of Life Through Traditional Moo Doe
Traditional Moo Doe is known as one of the best ways to reach a point of total harmony. It has been used to achieve total physical balance internally and externally, which results in longevity and the ability to develop miraculous physical, mental, and spiritual strength. The combination of correct principles, development of internal/external foundations, and correct sequences with the proper body adjustments are necessary for this development. Traditional Moo Doe movement has been developed over many centuries. There have been hundreds of thousands of practitioners who have dedicated their lives to finding the fastest and safest ways to absorb nature’s energies in order to purify the mind, body, soul, and spirit. For this reason millions of people throughout history have searched for the wisdom, skill, and knowledge held by the Grandmasters and Masters of Traditional Moo Doe. Their search was to not only develop the ability to achieve miraculous strength and skills, but to earn the lifelong benefits and quality of life that increase with each higher level of movement. Each Traditional Moo Doe movement benefits a specific area of the mind and body. Without having the correct sequences of these movements it is almost impossible to reach one’s full potential of strength and ability. Many of the photographs and drawings on this chart are examples of Traditional Moo Doe training methods that lead to this tremendous strength, skill, and ability.
