8 Complete Martial Arts Taught as ONE! The main emphasis of Moo Doe training is to develop and strengthen the individual mind and body. The Chung Moo Doe line of martial art training incorporates movements from eight different martial art styles for complete mental and physical development. In Eastern China, practitioners took advantage of their closeness to the ocean to develop forms such as Tang Non, Tang Non Choy Yo, Sa Chung and Su Chung that took advantage of the movements of the ocean, water and sand. These movements were often practiced in the sand. In Western China the terrain is mountainous. Martial arts movements developed here resemble the movements of the native animals. Practitioners also used herbs found in the mountains to aid and enhance the body. Hmm... Chung Moo Doe 3/13/2005 11:19:09 AM I was perusing the web the other day and Googled Chung Moo Doe. I was surprised at some of the sites it took me to. I had finished my training in Houston when the school had to shut down due to lack of funds. I was one or two weeks away from testing for 1st degree, so never had the honor. That was in 1995. According to what I found, Master Kim was indicted for tax fraud. Dah. I knew something was up while attending classes. But some of the other things being said about the group being a cult, well, there is a dark side to everything, and I suppose some individuals would take advantage of certain situations. Chung Moo Doe is all about trusting your instructors to know what they are doing. In a proper school, a black belt is not acquired in a matter of a year or two. Proper training takes at least 3 to 5 years of varying instructors and methods. As in all things, IDIC (infinite diversity in infinite combinations is the preferred philosophy When attend classes in Houston, there was no cult activity that I was aware of. As i stated before, my instructors were the best. There was one instructor who followed the dark side of Moo Doe, and was not to be trusted. I learned this early when I witnessed him injure other students in his attempt to teach them. In retrospect, I now know it was his own lack of skills and understanding that was causing him to injure others. I managed to stay out of most of his classes, and whenever he would be the instructor, he was always way to busy trying to pursue his own ambitions to be a concerning threat to myself. In the end, he failed himself.

I also saw some videos of dim mak demos where a martial expert applies a "light version" of this art onto a trainee and with people on the ready to resuscitate that trainee.
