It regularly includes articles on literature, text studies, anthropology, theology, contemporary thought, sociology, the arts, and more. This position was permanently endowed in 1993. In 1996, the Women's Studies Reference Archivist position was created to support increasing reference and outreach demands of the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture.
