Donations...
For the last few months I have had my email address removed from the game. It was turning into too much work to answer emails. Most were related to the language used in the chatroom. (mostly from parents and teachers) Otherwise the emails were nice comments about the game and ideas for improvements. Often improvements I would love to make.
Like everybody, I have bills to pay and a job that keeps me busy. What it comes down to is that I just don't have the time to either monitor the game or to make improvements.
This site has been up for two years and has not made me money. (it was never meant to) Over the two years the money from ads has covered my server costs.
There has to be some accountability about what goes on around here so my email address is back up.
Here it is... mark@geosense.net
I hope to answer emails promptly but if I do not, please understand.
Someone suggested that I ask for donations to support the site. That seems like a good idea, I would much rather do that than place more ads. Any donations made will allow me to spend more time looking after the site.

Bryce Canyon National Park Bryce Canyon National Park is located in south central Utah in the heart of National Park country. The park is comprised of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah. Thousands of years of erosion have created an incredible assortment of spires, pinnacles, fins hoodoos, and mazes out of a motley assortment of limestone, sandstone and mudstone. Bryce Canyon National Park offers some of the finest examples of hoodoos in the world. The varying layers of stone offer a broad range of colors and hues that change with the angle of the sun during the day. Most of the park sits over 8,000 feet so stands of ponderosa pines, spruce, fir, and high meadows sit on the eastern rim of the plateau and offer contrast to the reds, oranges, yellows, and browns of the canyons and amphitheaters below. Bryce Canyon National Park is also blessed with some of the best air quality in the United States. Add in a lack of nearby bright lights and Bryce Canyon National Park becomes one of the best places in the United States to stargaze. If your plans are open this fall consider a visit to Bryce this November 17th when the five day long Leonids Meteor Shower is expected to peak close to midnight local time.
