Special Collections received an extensive photograph collection and approximately 190 rare volumes documenting the history of accounting. Of particular note is the 1494 folio edition of Luca Pacioli's treatise Summa de Arithmetica, Geometria, Proportioni et Proportionalita . A milestone in accountancy, Pacioli's work contains the printed description of double entry bookkeeping. The rare volumes have been catalogued and their records available through the J.D.
