It was like a family reunion. Three brothers (Bala Krishna, Hari Krishna and Rama Krishna) met their brother-in-law Chandra Babu Naidu who came to bless his son-in-law Taraka Rathna (son of Mohana Krishna). In addition to these men, there was a row full of ladies from Nandamuri family sitting in the audiences. Now, isn't that, what a family is for - to bless a budding heir and encourage him? This extravagant event was organized on the 20th of October in Shalimar theater, Narayanaguda to mark the release of audio of NT Rathna's second venture 'Yuva Rathna'. This date marked another joyous celebration for the Nandamuri family. Nandi awards were announced this day and Bala Krishna won the best actor Nandi award for the first time after 25 years in the field. Such a joyous event and idlebrain.com not featuring it exclusively for you valued visitors and fans? Unthinkable, Improbable and Impossible. 100 Greatest Indians
Sometime back, I wrote about the greatest Britons and Germans. I was pottering around the net and figured, why don’t I check out the greatest Indians? Well, there are some lists which are knocking around on the internet. The ones which are across several categories are rather limited, while the lists of the Arjun Award, Bharat Ratna, Param Vir Chakra and other are premier military and civilian award winners. Ideally speaking, the Bharat Ratna award should give a list of the greatest Indians, but I was rather disappointed with it, it doesn’t fit into my definition of greatness. In any case, it comprises of people from the past 50 odd years only. So I decided to go ahead and come up with my own evaluation of who is the greatest Indian of all times.

Chautisha a medieval poetic genre in which each letter of the Bangla alphabet was used to compose a line of a poem. Since all 34 letters were used, these poems were known as chautisa (from chautrish , thirty-four). At times more than one line was composed using the same letter. Chautisha was also written in ancient sanskrit literature, mainly to compose eulogies for the deities, as, for example, in Vrihaddharmapurana Similar chautisha are also found in mangalkavya . In this style the first word of every line begins with a letter arranged in alphabetical order. mukundaram uses a 67-couplet chautisha for Sripati Saodagar in Kavikankan Chandi Sripati Saodagar's panegyric to the goddess Kali begins with the letter ' ' and ends with ' ', the compound letter of the Bangla alphabet. bharatchandra 's chautisha in Annadamangal in which Sundar eulogises Kali at the burning ghat and escapes death, consists of 50 couplets, beginning with ' ' and ending with ' Several medieval Muslim poets also composed chautisha, but drew their themes from arabic and persian sources.

There is much to reflect on and profit from her deep understanding and sympathy with the issues of development, "Were I more interested in teaching geography I could have probably made each child recite the names of all the states within the hour. But the question of what is a country would have died, and along with it the finer feelings of unity, sense of duty towards the distressed." Tarun Jain: " Here is another essay written by Aravinda two years back . We often talk about cultural barriers in doing development work; these same barriers show themselves in governance as well. Much of official India is tremendously arrogant towards the knowledge of the villages. Efforts such as the water harvesting campaign in Rajasthan show that this knowledge is not only present, but effective as well!!"

    I. Introduction
August 15, 1997 marked the fiftieth anniversary of India's independence.(1) A momentous day for all citizens of the subcontinent, it is of no less significance to the rest of the world. As the second most populous nation in the world and one occupying a significant geo-strategic location in Asia, the triumph of democracy and the strengthening of its roots in India augur well for international peace and security. Enduring for half a century as a vibrant, democratic and secular nation of teeming millions reflecting a rich diversity of caste, religion, language, culture, economic and social backgrounds is an achievement for India worthy of celebration.
This celebration has been at one and the same time an inspiring and introspective event. India's fiftieth anniversary provides evidence of survival, as well as an opportunity to pause and take measure of her half century of experience in promoting human rights among her own citizens.
