Mr. Duncan, I would very much like to speak to you about working with Pfizer. I have done a fair amount of research and found a few key areas where I believe USWeb can be of great value. One of the core competencies of USWeb, as you may have noticed, is search engine optimization. This is simply the ability to have the right content made visible to search engine users. And this is an area where I think we can be of great value to Pfizer. One great example of what we can do for Pfizer is based around your OTC product Sinutab. According to the Phizer website: http://www.pfizer.com/pfizer/do/counter/allergy/mn_sinutab_nondrying.jsp Sinutab relieves nasal congestion. Terms like “stuffy nose” or “home cure for stuffy nose” are regularly searched terms in search engines. There is no mention on the first page of Google of Sinutab: Turning focus to another popular OTC product, Sudafed I see note that Sudafed is a great cold medication. But when I search for “cold medicine” in Google, there is no mention of Sudafed.

Ben Canaider is unemployed and unemployable. He makes money by selling stories to newspapers and magazines about drinking. In this sense he is an agent of the fashion and drug industries. He is not proud of this but it does support his habit: shoes and visiting bars. When he was little he worked for the local council then went to uni and studied history and then became a roof tiler and then taught Form one kids and then tried to help Chinese people speak English and then worked as a cook/pretend chef for 2 years or so but got sacked for being drunk one day. He was writing his football club newsletter when he first became a published wine and drinks writer. He lives in Melbourne and works from an office and has no pets.
Greg Duncan Powell doesn't like cities or offices but he doesn't mind a drink. So he hides away in a remote part of the south coast of the NSW where wine companies send wine for him to taste and he writes about it if he thinks it's any good. But that doesn't take up too much time so the rest of the day he goes surfing, fiddles about on the guitar, waters the vegie garden and things like that. When younger, he was in a ridiculously loud punk band and at university wrote a thesis on marriage in twelfth century France. He likes wine writing but would prefer to be a professional musician or a farmer.

Some of the artists use representation in their work although stratified and mystified though optical variance. The artist as one stop provider…the sole creator of beauty?! More like visual war often. The casual nature of the presentation/installation reveals an insistence/contention/resolve that abstract work need not be detached from real life, and that art is meant to be lived with.

IAIN DUNCAN SMITH MP HOME CUISINE ENVIRONMENT INSURANCE ... WHISTLEBLOWING Perplexed at the lack of representation from his local MP , a Herstmonceux man wrote to the Rt Hon Iain Duncan Smith MP, leader of the Conservative party, seeking an explanation. Mr Duncan Smith declined to intervene. The letter below reveals the reason given for refusing to look into the matter, but does not offer a remedy! I can assure you this is the standard response where you are getting the bums-rush. Delay and denial is one of the most basic tools used by MPs when they want to look the other way. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Duncan Smith during one of his clinics. On that occasion, another Wealden resident was furnishing him with evidence of serious maladministration in his area, enough to make any MP worth his salt, sit up and take notice. Cllr Sivia TIdy was in attendance, then a newly elected member, now a cabinet member. Mr Duncan Smith said "these are serious charges." He then refused to take a bundle of evidence from the Wealden resident, and said: "when you have some proof, come back and see me"! The sad fact is your MP can refuse to represent you. When he does, the above letter confirms there is no other channel for you to bring a matter to the Parliamentary Ombudsman. So much for a safety net!

ARTHUR DUNCAN is one of those old-time, enduring entertainers - he sings, he taps up a storm, he has the finished manners of a TV host and the patter and timing of a comedian. In short, he's the quintessential song-and-dance man. This globe-trotting entertainer and regular of 15 years on "The Lawrence Welk Show," has thrilled audiences the world over with his fancy footwork and lively singing style. In addition to record-setting nightclub appearances, ARTHUR has appeared on national television with other such legends as Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis and Red Skelton. ARTHUR'S entrance into show business was a natural process. As a newsboy on the street corners of Pasadena, he would sing the popular songs of the day and collect coins tossed his way. Taking a six-month sabbatical from Pasadena City College where he was studying to be a pharmacist, ARTHUR wanted to, as he says, "see what this show business was all about." He never returned to college, succeeding far beyond his expectations in night club bookings, local and national television appearances. ARTHUR toured with the Jimmy Rodgers show and starred in his own variety television show in Australia. Then followed five years of appearances in clubs in London, Paris, Cairo, Beirut and three years in the winter and summer resorts of Switzerland. Upon his return from Europe

The meeting of the Academic Council was called to order at 3:00 p.m. by President William Brody. In addition to President Brody, those attending were Provost Steven Knapp, Dean Daniel Weiss, Vice Dean Adam Falk, Associate Dean Andrew Douglas, Professors Gregory Ball, Betsy Bryan, Gregory Chirikjian, Benjamin Hobbs, Eaton Lattman, Daniel Naiman, David Nirenberg, and Douglas Poland. Vice Provost for Research Theodore Poehler, Dean Ilene Busch-Vishniac, and Professors Veena Das, and Charles Meneveau were absent. Remarks by the Secretary. Professor Bryan reported on the dinner meeting where Professor Nirenberg briefed the Council members about the Jewish Studies program. Dean Weiss added that he thought the evening meeting discussion had been especially productive. On the question of how to contextualize non-western studies here at Hopkins, he said the pressure is between doing what is in the best curricular interest of the students broadly and what departments themselves seek to pursue within their own research and teaching strategies. Faculty across departments should be brought into discussion about this. Open Discussion.

Thu Oct 21 12:18:37 PDT 1999 greg.sisk at drake.edu I am not sure that it matters in principle, and I worry that I am taking up too much of people's time with this subject, but I wanted to correct Greg Sisk's assumption that my "proposal" (which is really nothing but a hypothetical trial balloon I don't know what I think of it myself) is as follows: First, with respect to extension of public benefits (such as tax, social security, etc.), Michael McConnell has suggested a compromise by which public benefits would be extended to same-sex unions. As I understand him, and please correct me if I am mistaken, this proposal would be something like saying that any two adults irrespective of relationship (erotic, economic, familial, etc.) could obtain these benefits. I haven't offered specifics on this point, but I actually did *not* have this in mind. I am inclined to agree with Alan Brownstein (if I
