Le XIX e siècle Les Personnages Évariste GALOIS (Bourg-la-Reine, 25 octobre 1811 - Paris, 2 juin 1832) Par Marc Nadaux Évariste Galois naît à Bourg-la-Reine, le 25 octobre 1811. Son père est un instituteur de convictions libérales qui est nommé maire de la commune, devenue Bourg-l’Egalité pendant les événements révolutionnaires. LA LOGICA EN EL SIGLO XIX Y SU RECONSTRUCCION HISTORIOGRAFICA Mario H.OTERO Pretender cubrir en una exposición el conjunto del desarrollo de la lógica en el siglo XIX resulta impensable, entre otras razones por la multitud de trabajos que han aparecido en los últimos años sobre aspectos puntuales y sobre períodos definidos del mismo. más aún, algunas presentaciones globales que sólo intentan ser, por su misma naturaleza, esquemáticas o aún bibliográficas (1), contienen o aluden a tal riqueza que confirman lo difícilmente abarcable del lapso referido. No es tampoco necesario recordar la fertilidad y amplitud, perfectible como es obvio, de los trabajos monográficos sobre los aportes principales de Boole, Frege, Peano, quienes son reconocidos alternativamente como los fundadores de la lógica nuestra. Por otro lado resulta también extremadamente difícil intentar dar una interpretación general del período. Se trata de un fenómeno que no es nuevo. Aún la presentación y discusión del modelo kuhniano de cambio, para otras ciencias de gran desarrollo, llevó a poner de relieve serias ambigüedades en la interpretación de los cambios conceptuales que el modelo requería. Es más, la consideración de las disciplinas propiamente matemáticas las mostró reacias a sujetarse a un modelo emparentado con el referido. Con todo, pareció subyacer a estudios de distinto tipo la idea de que historia de las matemáticas e historia de la lógica - sobre todo en el siglo xix - podían ser tratadas de una misma manera.
