I have been a student and maker of Windsor chairs since 1998, after experience as a designer and restoration carpenter. I have taken all the classes offered by the Windsor Institute in Hampton, New Hampshire, eleven in all. I have also reproduced chairs for customers who needed to expand a set they already have. My chairs are typically finished with milk paint and an oil topcoat. Wax topcoats and distressed finishes are also available. I am the company: I buy oak logs and split them out for parts, bend arms and bows, shape seats and assemble and paint the finished product. When you call, you will talk to me about what you need. My chairs are unconditionally guaranteed. Gilbert Bliss

MEET ERIN
Hi! My web designer has asked me to fill out a form for her, and I like to be cooperative whenever possible, so at the risk of sounding like I'm looking for computer dates, here goes nothing!
Name: Erin Ann Gilbert
Marital Status: Never married...and happy that way.
Occupation: Interior Designer.
Education: Bachelors from Parsons School of Design in NYC.
Height:
Age:
Eyes: Yes. They're both dark brown...chocolate, to be precise.
Hair: Wavy and auburn. It's currently shoulder-length.
Favorite Movie: "When Harry Met Sally." Favorite TV Show: "Trading Spaces," depending on that week's designer (and, no, I won't name names!). I also loved "Friends" and still watch the reruns on occasion. Favorite Food: Garlic Butter Prawns. Pet Peeve: Getting stuck on a date with a braggart...the ultimate bore! On the job, it's when clients won't let me get into their heads to discover what it is that they want from their room transformation... such as when they get rid of every furnishing and ask me to buy all new from scratch with no guidelines whatsoever. While I can do that, I inwardly scream: Why do you want to turn your home into a posh hotel room?! We're all worthy of celebrating our own uniqueness on this planet, and what better way to express ourselves and who we are than within our homes! Role Model: My mother. She had a degenerative lung condition, yet she never complained. She believed in making the most out of each and every day and was always patient and kind, even when she was in physical pain.

W elcome to my website!
My wonderful editor at Bantam/Dell has christened my new books featuring rival interior designers Erin Gilbert and Steve Sullivan: " The Domestic Bliss Mysteries ." We like to think of them as: Nancy Drew Meets Martha Stewart.
If it were within my power, the moment you opened one of my books you'd be wrapped in a feather-soft cashmere afghan and swept into a cozy wingback chair in front of a crackling fireplace, with your beloved cat curled in your lap and your beloved dog at your feet (assuming, of course, that your not allergic to either four-footed friend).
All is never truly "blissful" for my designing duo, however. (If it were, I wouldn't have a mystery, nor a plot!) As the stories of my main characters unfold, they must deal with a mutual attraction that is counterbalanced with their profound inability to work together without quarreling.
In DEATH BY INFERIOR DESIGN , they run up against a twisted killer who knows a painful truth about Erin Gilbert's childhood. In the second in the series, FALSE PREMISES , Steve's former love pulls both him and Erin into a dangerous con game that proves deadly. Before things can settle down, in MANOR OF DEATH, Gilbert and Sullivan's dream jobs for the Historic Homes Tour turns out to be chockfull of deadly secrets and, perhaps, with a not-so-friendly ghost stirring the brew.

SemiQuasiPseudo Symmetry 2 Symmetry 1 "Inspiration is omni-directional. It is not a one way system where one person is solely a receiver and the other is solely the inspirator. True inspiration occurs when there is a feedback loop, where all persons experiencing an event or performance can be influenced, including the performer. This is the underlying theme to Pathways. I have had the priveledge and opportunity to have experienced people, music and culture from different parts of the world, and have been able to share my own music and message to people in various countries. As a result, both myself and my audiences have left each other changed in some way, in the same way adding an ingredient to a recipe will somehow alter the dish. Pathways is my attempt to chronicle how these influences have affected me, and in return I give you the chance to be influenced by it as well."
