Biography
References Clients List Gallery ... Links Andrian Andreev was born in Kazanlak, Bulgaria in 1965. Since a child he has applied himself to the fine arts.
In 1984 he graduated at the School of Fine Arts in Tryavna, Bulgaria, where the woodcarving art is of great tradition.
Since 1987 he has devoted himself to violin making under the guidance of Master Makers Mincho Katrandjiev and Edrio Edrev in his home town. The town of Kazanlak is known as the center of violin making in Bulgaria from the beginning of the 20th century.
In 1991 Andrian Andreev attended the International Violin Making School "Antonio Stradivari" in Cremona, Italy and earned his Diploma in 1995 under the guidance of Master Wanna Zambelli (apprentice of Pietro Sgarabotto and Francesco Bissolotti).
The basic principles and techniques of the classical violin making Andrian found on his stay in Cremona which is the cradle of the violin making. He is grateful also to the responsiveness of Master Makers Marco Nolli and Massimo Negroni helping him specializing restoration and varnishing.
Back to his home town in 1997 he created his own workshop “Cremonenfis Art Studio” for fine artistic professional instruments from the “quartetto classico” implementing the classical technology of building and varnishing inspired by the great Italian Masters such as Stradivari, Amati, Guarneri, and other celebrities from the classical luthierie.

Konstantin Andreev was born in 1916. He received his pilot training on U-2s in the 4th "Aeroclub" in the spring and summer of 1938 at Leningrad and field camp at Ljuban.
After this he was sent to the Chugujev Military Air School were he trained from 1939 to 1940 and flew Polikarpov I-15s. He graduated on 16 June 1940. He arrived to the 13 IAP-KBF in August of 1940. In June 1941, he belonged to the 4./13 IAP-KBF. This unit was at the time equipped with Polikarpov I-153s and based at Hanko peninsula. On 23 June he claimed a shared Ju88. On the morning on 26 July he took part in a sortie against Finnish ships, which tried to defend the Bengtskär Lighthouse. He flew together with his comesk Belousov and komissar Biskup in a group of three I-153s. The leading aircrafts fell their bombs on some Finnish ship and changed formation. Andréa had to change his position and the distance between his I-153 and the leaders increased, he became separated and the formation leader didn’t notice this.
Suddenly he saw a burst of bullets hitting his Chaika and a enemy fighter attacking him from above and head-on. Andreev turned towards the enemy aircraft but lost the opponent from view and released his bombs over the sea. He was alone.

Openssl application fails when using hardware random number generator.
    Konstantin Andreev
Thu, 21 Apr 2005 08:23:18 -0700 I have motherboard with hardware number generator on AMD768 chip. It's a genuine random numbers source, and I would like to use it instead of pseudo-random /dev/urandom. In my Linux there is a working /dev/hw_random device [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# LANG= ll /dev/hw_random crw-rr 1 sas root 10, 183 Feb 18 14:46 /dev/hw_random And I have some applications in this system using openssl library: cyrus-imapd with SSL support. I've tried either to simlink # ln -sf hw_random /dev/urandom or create corresponding device : # mknod /dev/urandom c 10 183 Whatever I tried, cyrus-imapd immediately fails to accept SSL connections. Since cyrus-imapd by itself does not use any RAND_* functions, and completely relies on openssl for this, I conclude this is openssl fault. May be this is because /dev/hw_random is slower than openssl expects ? How should I cope with this, and force openssl to use hardware ? Hello. I became acquainted with Mulberry just a few days ago, and still explore it's possibilities. Notwithstanding I am a programmer myself, I am very impressed by this software design. It is something I could make for myself. Thanks for developers. At the same time, Mulberry leaks the very significant concept of the message "encoding". It's the same concept you could see in any modern web-browser. Very unfortunately, but without this concept Mulberry can not be used neither me, nor any other people, speaks languages with more the one computer encodings ( Russian, Chinese, ... ). To make not naked assertion, here are two examples of the incorrect encoding treatment, imposed by Mulberry. 1) Message list displays incorrect message headers: http://www.dancelife.ru/tmp/msg02/badencls.png

Abstract: In this paper we present a polynomial time approximation algorithm for designing a multicast overlay network. The algorithm finds a solution that satisfies capacity and reliability constraints to within a constant factor of optimal, and cost to within a logarithmic factor. The class of networks that our algorithm applies to includes the one used by Akamai Technologies to deliver live media streams over the Internet. In particular, we analyze networks consisting of three stages of nodes. The... Mikhail Epstein DANIIL ANDREEV AND THE RUSSIAN MYSTICISM OF FEMININITY (with a synopsis of Daniil Andreev's treatise The Rose of the World) In the book The Occult in Russian and Soviet Culture , ed. by Bernice Glatzer Rosenthal. Ithaca and London: Cornell University Press, 1997, pp. 325-355.
Though Daniil Andreev's works began to be published only in 1989, thirty years after his death, his legacy is already a major factor in Russian intellectual life. His many admirers regard his treatise The Rose of the World (1950-1958) as one of the highest peaks of twentieth century Russian spirituality. A mystic and a poet, with strong historical, utopian, and philosophical dimensions in his universalist vision, Andreev is often interpreted as the embodiment of the synthetic aspirations of Russian culture. An article about him in the influential newspaper Nezavisimaia gazeta stated: "In his investigation Leo Tolstoi and Dostoevsky (1901-1902), Merezhkovsky grasped the imminent emergence in Russia of a poet who will synthesize in his creativity the carnal, paganist, and highly spiritual elements, i.e., the artistic discoveries of Leo Tolstoi and Dostoevsky, respectively. The epic scope of Homer, the visionary gift of Dante, the religious heroism of Milton, the universality of Goethe indissolubly merged in the creativity of D. Andreev." (0) However exaggerated this opinion may be, it conveys accurately the rising influence of Andreev. His legacy belongs to those historiosophical and cosmosophical movements of Russian thought which attempt to synthesize natural sciences, social utopias and religious inspirations in a kind of occult "superknowledge" claiming the power of complete transformation of the world.
