Becoming Empowered For Our Pets
I am a big fan of planning ahead whenever possible, especially when pets are concerned. Pets have earned an important place of the family for so many of us, and we want to do our best to take care of them. Despite our careful planning however, it is not always possible to be fully prepared; an emergency or we are shocked to hear a difficult diagnosis. Other times, pet owners may want a second opinion or help finding a new veterinarian. I have always said that "you are the consumer of your own health care", meaning that people should question, plan, and if needed

It requires the acquisition and application of scientific knowledge in multiple disciplines and uses technical skills directed at disease prevention in both domestic and wild animals.
