What is this thing anyway?
This website documents, in great depth, a large collection of chemical elements and examples of their applications, common and uncommon. Click any element tile above and you will find probably more than you ever wanted to know about that element. All these samples (well, at least the ones that fit) are stored in a wooden periodic table, by which I mean a physical table you can actually sit at, in my office at Wolfram Research I decided to build this table by accident in early 2002, as a result of a misunderstanding while reading

No data Includes the history of the periodic table and information on the structure of atoms and the periodic table.
http://web.buddyproject.org/web017/web017/
Welcome to Mrs. Gibson's Periodic Table ADventure website! This website was created in accordance with the 8th grade chemistry curriculum at Princeton Community Middle School in Princeton, Indiana. This goal of this website is to introduce and explore basic chemistry concepts and to practice these concepts using engaging web-based research and activities. In the culminating activity, students will perform a WebQuest which requires them to research an element using the internet. Once students have researched their elements, students will develop and perform commercials for their elements. Last updated on 4/18/00 Thank you for visiting! If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail D. Gibson, Grade 8 Science Teacher at dld1999@excite.com

This version of the Periodic table is based on that recommended by the Commission on the Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry and published in IUPAC Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry, Recommendations 2005. Atomic weights are quoted to five significant figures. For more precise values see the table of 2007 recommended values (see Pure Appl. Chem., , 2051-2066 and press release ). For elements with no stable nuclides the mass of the longest-lived isotope has been quoted in brackets. However three such elements (Th, Pa, and U) do have a characteristic terrestrial isotopic composition, and for these an atomic weight is tabulated. The names for elements 112 to 118 are temporary and are based on the 1978 recommendations (see Pure Appl. Chem., , 381-384). Mass number of the longest-lived isotope of hassium from Phys. Rev. Lett.
