We are currently seeking Senior Level (Associate or Full Professor) applicants for positions in social psychology and human memory/attention The Psychology Placement Test is scheduled for the second day of classes, Thursday January 24, 2008, at 4pm in Hunter Lab room 102. Weiss Hall is located on Temple University's Main Campus , less than two miles from center city Philadelphia. Temple is a dynamic urban university and is currently one of the largest universities in the United States, with an enrollment of over 31,000 students and nearly 3,000 faculty members. The department has a strong commitment to scholarly and scientific excellence. Recently, it has been heralded as one of the most diverse universities in the nation. This setting offers exciting opportunities for research and scholarly discourse.
    • Areas and Programs
        The Psychology Department offers a vast array of undergraduate courses and research opportunities. Soon, undergraduate students at Temple will be able to major in Neuroscience, with a specialization in Psychology. There are full time graduate training programs leading to the Ph.D. in 4 major areas: Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Brain and Behavioral Sciences, and Social Psychology. Graduate students currently have the opportunity to participate in an interdisciplinary program in Developmental Psychopathology and an interdisciplinary certificate program in Neuroscience.

Search USC THIS SITE The Department of Psychology, in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina, is located in Barnwell College, just off the historic horseshoe. The University of South Carolina is the state's flagship institution and is a comprehensive research university. The main campus, located in Columbia, with seven regional campuses located throughout the state, has 16,000 undergraduate students and 8000 students in graduate and professional programs. The Department of Psychology offers two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS). Both provide training in the theories and practices of psychology, combined with a liberal arts background. Currently, there are approximately 850 undergraduate psychology majors, about 25% of all of the College's undergraduate majors. The Undergraduate Student Services Office is staffed by an undergraduate coordinator and peer counselors to advise, assist and provide timely information to its majors. The graduate psychology programs offer both the Master of Arts and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in experimental psychology, clinical-community psychology and school psychology. In addition to the three graduate degree programs, the Department of Psychology has developed research focus areas in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, Prevention Science (youth, family, school and community domains), and Reading and Related Processes. Students in any of the graduate degree programs can interface with any of the research areas.
