I had always found books from this series to be good revision material and so was surprised to find material that was poor and often technically flawed. I was very happy to find that the C++ book and the Essential Computer Mathematics books were much more what I expect from a Schaum Outline. I am not so certain about the Java offering, perhaps someone else with more expertise in this subject area would like to give that one a thorough look over. Remember that Schaum Outlines are aimed at being supplementary and revision material for students of the relevant subject. They are not intended to be primary sources of information.
