Alumni Welcome to the School of Computing Sciences Welcome to the School of Computing Sciences, University of East Anglia, Norwich. Our official three letter acronym is CMP. We conduct research and teach in the fields of Computer Science, Business and Electronics. The size of the School varies but typically we have between 500 and 600 students on taught programmes, over 100 research students and about 80 to 90 staff. We conduct international quality research for government, industry and other organisations. To exploit our ideas we have formed our own consultancy company and many of our staff have close links with industry. According to the UEA survey, From UEA to employment , our graduates are the highest paid of all UEA graduates and can be found in almost every employment sector all over the world.
