Making Your Dreams Happen
Interpretation of a psychological dream.
Life’s experiences sometimes rubs us the wrong way. When something happens that contradicts our sense of ‘what oughtta be’ regarding our view of right or wrong, good and bad, it can make us pretty unhappy and affect our outlook on life. Unfulfilled wishes and desires are another have much the same effect. Through our dreams, the subconscious mind tries to provide us with just the right dream at just the right time, to compensate for the many things that cause our peace of mind to get out of balance.

The DreamBank is a collection of dream reports and an important addition to our main Web site, dreamresearch.net . The reports come from various sources: from the files of Calvin Hall , from our own studies, from individuals who have contacted us with their long- time dream journals, etc.
If you're looking for ideas on the kinds of research you could do using the DreamBank, you may find it helpful to read a recent unpublished article on doing "Fast Content Analysis" using the search engine . Or, for a slightly less quantitative approach, read an article by Calvin Hall on doing a qualitative/intuitive analysis of an individual's dream series
Click on the links below to start using the DreamBank. You can either perform a keyword search or extract a random sample (or a complete set) of dreams.
