Estudi³ en su ciudad natal, se gradu³ como Doctor de Medicina en , Doctor en Ciencias en y como su padre, Profesor, en este caso de la C¡tedra de Fisiolog­a en la Facultad de Medicina de Paris a partir de Durante 24 a±os, desde a , fue editor de la Revista Cient­fica y desde , co-editor del Journal de Fisiolog­a y Patolog­a General . Public³ art­culos sobre fisiolog­a qu­mica patolog­a experimental. En fisiolog­a trabaj³ sobre los mecanismos de la termorregulaci³n en animales de sangre caliente. Antes de sus investigaciones (1885 –1895) sobre polipnea y temblor debido a temperaturas, poco era conocido sobre los m©todos por los cuales los animales deprivados de su transpiraci³n cut¡nea pueden protegerse del exceso de calor y como animales enfriados pod­an calentarse a s­ mismos. Tatin, partisan de l'Esp©ranto, et surtout cit© pour avoir co-fond© l'Institut M©tapsychique International en 1919, tout en ayant propag© ce terme d¨s 1894.
