University Theatre will present The Playboy of the Western World by Irish writer John Millington Synge Oct. 17-19, 21-23, and 30-31 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Oct. 21 at 2:30 p.m., in the Cellar Theatre in the Fine Arts Building. Farley Richmond will direct this timeless romantic production. The show will be staged in the round, offering a particularly intimate relationship to the audience. Tickets are $10 ($8 for students).
