    Biographie
    Nach dem Besuch des Joachimsthalschen Gymnasium in Berlin studierte Diels an der FU Berlin Chemie bei Emil Fischer und schloss das Studium ab. Nach der Promotion "Zur Kenntnis der Cyanurverbindungen" in Berlin wurde er zum Professor berufen, wechselte aber bereits ein Jahr sp¤ter an die Universit¤t Kiel , wo er bis als Professor und Leiter des Institus f¼r Chemie t¤tig war.
