Research Interests:
Applied Theoretical Chemistry, Structure and Reactivity of molecules and clusters We study the structure and reactivity problems of real life molecules, clusters and solids using theoretical techniques ranging from the simplest of molecular orbital methods to the sophisticated electronic structure theory depending on the system at hand and the questions that are to be answered. A constant attempt is made by us to find common threads between problems in one area to another, for example, between organic and organometallic chemistry, amongst the chemistry of various main group elements, between polymorphs of elements and their compounds and so on. Please see News for research opportunities.

An International Journal for Reviews and Communications in Heterocyclic Chemistry
Founded by:
Tetsuji Kametani

See editorial board for all editors information
Description
Since its launch in 1973, Heterocycles has provided a platform for the rapid exchange of research in the areas of organic, pharmaceutical, analytical, and medicinal chemistry of heterocyclic compounds. In addition to communications, papers and reviews, a special section of the journal presents newly-discovered natural products whose structure has recently been established.
Another section is devoted to the total synthesis of previously documented natural products with heterocyclic ring systems.
Due to the fact that the journal is able to publish articles within two months of receipt of the manuscripts, researchers in this field can obtain up-to-date information on heterocyclic research by reading Heterocycles regularly.
