He attended the University of Southern California as a theatre major with numerous scholarships he had won. He was nominated for the prestigious Irene Ryan/Kennedy Centre Award, and USC awarded him the James Pendleton Award for Acting. He has had roles in many TV shows, such as Boy Meets World Saved by the Bell: The New Class and Third Rock from the Sun . He has also starred alongside Tori Spelling in Perpetrators of the Crime , and done many commercials - you might recognize him as the rude clerk in Beyond.com radio commercials. In 1997 he was awarded a fellowship by the USC, where he teaches acting during the summer sessions. Danny hopes to eventually write and direct both theatre and film and has already written several screenplays.

Could you tell us about your first day on the set, and what you felt as you first walked in? Danny Strong (DS) : My first day on the set was for the unaired pilot presentation, many, many years ago, so it's hard to recall those first experiences. The project was kind of a joke around town because it was a TV show of a failed movie, so there wasn't exactly any hype around it. I remember thinking the script was really cool, and that this might do better than people think. I only had one line in the show, so it wasn't as if I thought I was going to be a big part of this experience if the show was picked up. JPM : Working on Buffy must've been an interesting ride. What was the most satisfying experience you ever had on the show?

I mean, who would have thought that you would have, what, a ten-episode commitment for Buffy this year? STRONG: Yeah. Rogue Slayer He was always so funny, especially in his early appearances throughout Season Two. I remember a few years ago when I first heard about the unaired pilot episode and managed to download a copy (shhh...), how very pleasantly surprised I was to see Danny Strong in it! He's the kid in the lineup outside The Bronze, as beloved STP plays, who asks Buffy if she's the new girl. Amazing to see him being used again (and again and again) throughout the series' run after such a small role in a presentation that never aired. I understand that these sorts of things aren't meant to be aired anyway, I think they're strictly for the execs, but still, that was a nice surprise. All the best to him now and in the future.
